What we hold, and what we will never publish.
The trust keeps records about children because it cannot run centres without them. This page says plainly what those records contain and who can see them.
What we never put on this website
No page a member of the public can reach will ever carry a child’s full name, photograph, date of birth, exact age, school, guardian’s name or phone number, home address, health notes, or whether they are in the Vulnerable Families Programme.
Where we tell a child’s story, we use a first name or a chosen name and an age range, and only where a guardian has given written consent. A photograph appears only where a guardian has given written consent and an administrator has released that specific picture. Both permissions start switched off for every child.
What the trust holds internally
Centre staff record attendance, school progress, guardian contact details and, where relevant, health notes. This is how a centre knows a child has stopped coming, or needs to see a doctor.
Health notes, family circumstances and guardian contact details can be seen only by the office and by the manager of the child’s own centre. Every time somebody opens them, that is recorded with their name and the time. Every export of data is recorded the same way.
Who else sees it
Our UK partner receives monthly and quarterly reports containing figures, narrative and photographs released for that purpose. These reports do not identify individual children.
If you give money
We keep your name, contact details, the amount and the date, because we are required to. If you ask for an 80G receipt we also keep your PAN. If you claim Gift Aid we keep your address and declaration. We do not sell or share donor details.
If you sign up for news
We keep your email address and nothing else, and every email carries a link that removes you.
Asking us about your data
A guardian may ask what we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for a story or photograph at any time. Withdrawn consent takes the material down.
