Sponsorship covers one child’s meals, materials and teaching for a year. We do not publish profiles of the children who need it — write to us and the office will explain how it works.

What a sponsor receives
Once a year the office sends you the child’s growth book: what they weigh, how they are getting on at school, and which months they did not come.
It is the folder the centre manager already keeps — the health-check card, the school report and the notes — written out in one place.
NovemberRead a whole book aloud to the class. Still finds arithmetic hard, and the teacher is working on it with her twice a week.

Why there are no profiles here
Publishing a child’s name, face and family circumstances so that a stranger can choose between them is not something we are willing to do, however much it might raise.
Sponsors receive the same monthly reports the trust sends its partners: attendance, meals, what went well and what was difficult at the centre they support.
